Western Springs House Walk Highlights 2019

On May 19, 2019 six Western Springs homeowners opened their homes for tours for the House Walk benefitting the Western Springs Historical Society. This year the tour consisted of new builds and remodels of older homes showcasing the variety of architecture and interior design of the community. What struck me most this year was the amount of details found in each and every home as seen below. From colorful florals and fabrics to bleached floors and even tablescapes celebrating homeowners vacation spots, a fantasy of thoughtful design could be noted in each home that was completely appropriate for that space. At one stop, visitors had the opportunity to buy handmade stunning jewelry by the homeowner's sister.
